The significant professional situations of competence represent the key situations which, when mastered, are sufficient to give an account of all the skills mobilized in the work. We will focus on the occupational situations that allow the implementation of animal welfare education within Anicare's conceptual framework.

To create and maintain a confident atmosphere
Take a benevolent, non-judgmental stance and define a framework that allows the learner to express himself authentically and make mistakes as lever for learning.
To enlighten the conceptions of the learners about animal welfare and to build an adapted pedagogical strategy
Elaborate and implement a pedagogical situation that makes it possible to become aware of and make the learners aware of the representations they make, to observe the obstacles to be overcome, and to define a pedagogical strategy to overcome the obstacles
To build and lead a situation-problem
To adapt a situation problem according to the level of the learners and the obstacles to overcome
To lead debates where values and emotions are expressed
To choose the theme of the debate and to lead it to allow the learners to develop their argumentations, and to make the controversies related to animal welfare a way of learning
To lead a pedagogical strategy combining individual, groupal and plenary sessions
To define a complexe strategy of teaching combining by-distance, presential, individual and group time, allowing action and reflexivity, and limiting any pressure from the group
To institutionalize the main learning of a pedagogical strategy
To propose to the learner the possibility to take a distance with the pedagogical strategy which involved his active engagement, and to enlighten the main concepts in relation with the teaching intention
